There are animals (frogs and some fish) that can completely dry out during dry seasons and revive when the rain comes and their body sucks up enough moisture. They are studying the genetics of the creatures to find out how it works. If they figure out how the animals do it they may be able to do gene therapy to other animals to see if they can do the same thing. Its far fetched but maybe someday it may work for long space travel instead of some sort of deep sleep.

yeah, we bring people back from the dead all the time, clinically speaking.

once they've sat there a bit, then they are gone for good.

if you could 'record' their state completely, then recreate it with machines, you would succeed in 'resurrecting' them. I can't overstate the technical difficulty of such a process.

But, you are asking about the soul, I presume. There is no soul, in that sense of the word. We are electrochemical robots.

i've got self belief in the event that they choose for to delve into insanity with this stem-cellular study stuff, I see no rationalization why they are able to't take the DNA from a fossile and plant it interior a residing cellular to attempt and positioned across back something thats been ineffective thousands of years. i be attentive to its form of sci-fi Jurassic Park stuff i'm talking approximately, yet look at how they made those clone sheeps and stuff.

I'd say possible. Life is, after all, just a bunch of chemical reactions in a bag.

WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO RESURRECT SOMEONE WHO IS ALIVE????
I have heard that scientists want to use DNA to bring a wooly mamoth back to life.
