My partner ran his van into a set of traffic lights today and knocked the pole down. We will be due a bill in for it any ideas how much??? uk

It was a company vehicle so his work deals with the insurance - his boss ain't pleased. The van is a write-off!

I will tell you a story..

In 1983 i hit a frie hidrent in chicago il in the usa and the coust for the replacment of that hidrent was 5000$ my insurance covered it but droped me there after so my love get ready for it and start looking for a new insurance Co....

About 6 years ago my friend hit a lamp pole in Coventry and that was 2500. Add six years and the fact it's a traffic light, it's going to cost you.
Guess would be 5000
