I'm a girl... and I have no idea what to get him. He's a pretty regular guy, he likes skateboarding, music, hockey, that kind of stuff. He's also really involved in his church.

Yeah, music is usually a good choice. You could also check into when any hockey games are going to be played in your area and you could get him tickets to that maybe?

how about some cologne? or a gift certificate of some sort, maybe to itunes or some skate shop?

Personally, i'd make him a composite CD...nothing else like it! make it personal, not just a throwtogether. good luck.
