(PAST )tony and Todd are getting a divorce and were battling over the kid. Toni chased a girl who Todd was with and was charged with carjacking. The charges were dismissed, but Todd's lawyer wanted to use that against Toni. Toni asked Joan to be her major material witness, Joan was trying to "do her" and she went to this party in the hills, got really dressed up, and got drunk the night before the court hearing. Joan was so wasted that she couldn't drive herself home so she slept on the grass, woke up and tried to get herself home, when she got into the car, she had to throw up she didn't put the car's emergency breakon so the car went down the hill and crashed, she called a taxi, but he left when he found out she had no money, meanwhile, in the court the girls are calling Joan and it goes stright to her voice mail, (she was out of range and the phone was in the car crash too) toni was getting worried because she could have lost her kid, Todd ended up not using teh damgaging evidence and settled with Toni. As the girls are leaving the court room, Joan still wearing last nigt's dress, with leaves and sticks in her hair just made it to the court room. She saw the girls and called out to them them looked at joan and walked out of the court house.
(Present) the two other friends forgave Mia bought a house and had a welcome party, Joan asked if Toni was coming and her and Lynn told Joan that Toni was home packing. Todd moved his practice to NY and Tony was moving with him so he could be close to his kid. Toni never called Joan. Joan called her a few times and nothing. (Recent) Joan found out Toni came to visit and never called Joan, Joan became really upset and called mia and lynn. I guess they left as that. Joan always thought Toni was going to forgive her, but she finally realized that she was not going to forgive her and that there friendship was over.

Do you mean Toni? Joan has been all into herself every since she was named the "IT" girl by some magazine, only to find out that the guy she was dating got her in the magazine. She thought because she opened her Tapas Bar that she was now part of the "A" list. Because of her new fascination at being in a magazine and receiving invites to parties she didn't bother to show up to things that Toni needed her for. Toni had an appointment to sell a house and Joan was supposed to watch Morgan but she showed up late because she was out buying a Porshe. When she did help out she left early. The final straw was that Toni had to go to court because Todd was trying to get full custody of Morgan. Joan was supposed to be there not only for support, but also to testify for Toni. Joan got embarrassed and drunk at a party that she went to the night before and passed out on the people's lawn. She woke up late, hopped in her car and got sick. She jumped out and threw up but the car was still rolling down hill. She lost her car and had to walk. She finally got to the court house but the case was closed because Todd let Toni have Morgan. Toni decided that she didn't want to raise Morgan alone so she moved to New York to be closer to Todd. She didn't forgive Joan and refused to speak to her.

I believe Joan is still on the show, but Toni is no longer with the show. I believe there was a contract dispute and/or salary issues.
