or they preferred the socialness that came with actually taking your Xbox to another person's house for a LAN... that or they prefer the skill and strategy involved in something like Counter Strike. the world is full of different opinions, it's something we all get used to
also, Metal Gear is focused more on story, something the writers for Halo could learn a thing or two from
