Family tends to gravitate to our house every year for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. Sometimes all the hassle and expense gets me down, but I usually manage to overcome my dread in time to enjoy myself. Most of the adults have agreed to not exchange gifts anymore, so that has really helped. God knows we don't need any more stuff, so now we concentrate more on doing things together and pooling our money to help others. Of course, we still buy gifts for the little ones. It wouldn't be Christmas to them without gifts, but more and more, even with them, the emphasis is shifting from swapping gifts to the pleasure of working together as a family to help others have a good holiday season.

i admire Christmas. I in basic terms purchase presents for human beings I care approximately and prefer. i admire being off of school for 2 weeks and getting to ultimately loosen up. I do accept as true with you that holiday journeys are too commercialized. Walmart had their Christmas decorations out till now Halloween, and at present, they're enjoying Christmas music in there. it rather isn't any longer even December!

NO! Who are you, Swerge? So what, we give presents to the poor and needy. I do that even when there isn't a holiday. I hope you become homeless and where all the shelters become demolished because all those stupid, greedy, losers like you think it's waisting space. Go ahead, take all my points away, SEE IF I CARE!!!!!! l:-[

Pretty much. People get so offended about nothing, whether they're offended by people celebrating, or people not celebrating.

So tiring. The gifts aren't worth it anymore.
