that there would be so much reporting if it was not anonymous ...
I just think its too easy .. I mean by all means report things that are offensive like Sexism ...Racism ...Adult Content... (even swearing .. if you find that offensive .. and don't leave your house)... someone being insulting ... stalkers ..
But some of the stuff that gets reported is ridiculous ... and just harmless, general temperature raisng questions like .... ''who would you like to get under the mistletoe, etc''..
whats all that about ... is it a form of bullying on the sly ...?
... don't shoot the questioner ...unless u really have to ;-)

Good point but the ones who do the reporting will just come back under another name and start all over again until people gang up on them and so on and so on, I agree it is a form of bullying and like all bullies they will never admit they are in the wrong and just try to pass the book as usual.

Awwwww
and i was so looking forward to the repeats
I am not a great fan of the press .
you really need, to read between the lines these days ,
to get even slightly close to the actual news,
There is a great deal of NONE news, bandied about these days . and most of what is printed , seems to be irrelevant to me .
Yes, it is quite possible they are channelling ( bullying)
the great unwashed, to reading and reacting ,to the rubbish that is churned out .
The press are not stupid, you know,
they are after increased newspaper sales , how that is achieved , seems to rest with the editor .
No !! i wont be shooting you today ,i liked your question
thanks

It would stop alot of it but then again it would stir up hatred because some on here are either obsessive, weird or just plain nuts. If they knew who had complained they would stalk them until they got rid of them so would make things worse for anyone who was genuinely offended and reported stuff xx

Guys is slang language for men, it is not inclusive language for girls or women .
If people (note the word) feel offended by what they read, irrespective of whether you find the reasons trivial or not, they have a perfect right to report it. You should respect their freedom to do so, not try to censor it!

Yahoo is planning to pre-screen questions and answers.
I've taken the personal policy that if someone deletes my legitimate answer, I report their question and I usually e-mail them and tell them I did it.
If my answer is not valid, then the question is not valid.
I've already wiped several questions off Y/A in all catagories.
