Neither. I can see how Rosie could construe it as homophobic but I think she may have overreacted. I can also see Ripa's side. Some people are more concerned about germs and things. I wouldn't be comfortable if someone I didn't know very well, no matter their sexual orientation, put their hand on my mouth. We don't know how well people wash after they use the bathroom. Some people have made a good point, though: would Kelly have reacted the same way if it was a hot straight guy?

I don't think what Kelly said was a homophobic comment at all, that never even occurred to me when I saw it.
I can't say what Rosie is thinking or why she saw it the way but I'll put it on everything that not ONE other person saw it that way, I'm sure they do now that Rosie has said it.

Most definitely Kelly is being more of a professional about this. Kelly tried to approach Rosie to clarify the situation but Rosie was just rude and not open minded. Clay is just hiding behind Rosie like the wimp he is.

I like Kelly Ripa, she is cute and very funny. Rosie is OK, but has a tendency to talk over people and not let them express their opinions. Its like her opinion is the only one and the right one. I would chose Kelly over Rosie any day.

I have to take Kelly's side on this one. If Kelly would have said the same thing to Regis, I don't think Rosie would have thought she was insinuating he was gay. Kelly is a smart ***. Rosie needs to not be so sensitive.
