Mmmm... maggots.

My grandfather used to have a recipe for hawk soup. You put the hawk in a pot of boiling water along with a fist-sized stone. Boil both hawk and stone until the stone is tender enough to poke with a fork. Then you throw out the hawk and eat the stone.

I am assuming you mean a scavenger? Vultures will eat hawks. I have seen them on roadkilled hawks.
