Actually virtually everyone dreams in color, though the entire dream may not be in color, but certain objects within the dream are typically in color. In fact, in terms of dream analysis, color is one of the most important items to consider. Certain colors symbolize certain moods in dreams.
Many people simply don't remember their dreams and are even less likely to recall details such as colors in their dreams. However, with a little practice, you can become better at recalling your dreams. Keep a dream journal or tape recorder by your bed. Every morning when you awake, write down or record whatever parts of the dreams you remember. Write down as much detail as you can. If this doesn't work, you can set an alarm clock in the middle of the night to awake yourself. After doing this for a couple of weeks, likely you will find that you are remembering dreams, atleast 1 or 2 each night.

Dreams are definately one of the most mystifying occurances in human life. Only, 8-9% of people who report dreaming actually dream in color. The meaning behind being able to dream in color? There isn't one really. Dreams are basically your minds way of getting free therapy. Your subconscience basically dumps things out and that, in essence, is what dreams are made of. Therapists recommend writing your dreams down as soon as you wake up to remember them and maybe actually use them. And on a side note, you can actually start molding your dreams using a dream journal. Write down your dreams (if you can remember them) and also write down things that you did before bed. Then you can make connections and start to make yourself dream how you want. I hope this answer was helpful....HAPPY DREAMING!

I think you have it! If you dream it you can achieve it! I am living the American Dream. I can from an honest family of very little means. I was instilled values that were priceless. I learned that working hard and seizing the opportunities we have available that you really can be all you want to be. I worked hard at my job and put my self through college while raising two children on my own. My dreams were fulfilled, I know and worked with many in my shoes who have done the same thing and it all paid off in a good, and rewarding career in medicine. Many have excercised their right to go for, life liberty and the pursuit of happiness!

It just means they imagined color in their dreams. For example, if you dream you're chasing a red balloon, then you'd remember the balloon was red, not gray. Or if you're on a tropical island, you might remember the deep blue color of the oceans. I don't particularly remember colors in my dreams, but I just always assumed I wasn't dreaming in black & white.

It probably means they see in colour when awake.
People sometimes don't notice colour as they remember the dreams, because colour doesn't seem to be an important part of the dream.
Some blind people still dream as if seeing, and I imagine in colour, though I don't know about people who have never seen.
