If you are used to eating regular turkey, then you will definitely notice a difference when eating tofurky. This is not to say that it's bad. The texture is pretty much dead on and it might taste a bit like store-bought or restaurant turkey, not homemade. I can say, though, that if you use it for a sandwich, it's impossible to tell the difference and it's great.
Either way, keep an open mind.

IT IS AWSOME! i have a friend who is vegan so we just got him this thing we found at the health food store. normal tofu, no special flavor but molded the shap of a turkey! it was soooooo cool! i didn't taste it though.... he loved it!
