Here's one possibility. Condensation forms on the outside of the tin and runs down to make a water seal around the bottom of the can. The air trapped in the concave space under the can warms up in time, therefore it expands a little. The extra pressure could lift the can just a little bit, and if the table is not perfectly level, the can could move due to gravity, because there would be very little friction - the water seal would be a lubricant.

it means a drinks tin moved across the table :-) but the table was probably wet
