I have been out of work for two years and 4 months. I am applying myself, but I can't seem to find anything. Though I did find something, but the transportation getting to and from there is horrible. I am always broke I have a house, bills, rent and children. Some days I feel like running away, I need employment and it seems like no one hears me. I am a fairly good girl I take care of my home and my children. I'm nice and polite to people I try not to sin alot in one day, I don't cruse and I seem to do the right things that are expected of me. But I can't seem to get ahead. I'm not asking for a million $, I'm not asking for fame I'm just asking for a simple 9 to 5 job and to be able to support my house, bills, rent and kids. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! me!

Under no circumstances do you just give up! Life may be hard, but you have children who need you. There are times when I feel like giving up because life is hard, really hard. There are times when I feel like I will never break even. I feel like life is pulling me apart from all ends and I don't know which way to go. You mentioned that you "try not to sin a lot in one day" so I am assuming that you believe in the Bible. Here are some words that I often use as encouragement to help me:
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
There are many times in my life where I thought everything was about to fall apart and I had no where to turn. This verse has always helped to remind me that God has a plan for our lives. We may not be able to see the plan, but God said his word is like a lamp for our feet and a light for our path.
Don't give up. Pray. P.U.S.H (pray until something happens)
I will remember you in my prayers and I hope that everything gets better for you in the future!

Try posting your resume` on monster.com. You can also start a daycare biz or a biz in something you have a passion for- you really don't have to sweat much to be employed. Good thing about this country is that a hobby can be turned into a money making venture..why not try that. Also dont let your heart be dampened, try and stay optimistic and trust God that you will get ahead with something. While you are looking for a job, have you considered an employment agency? They are pretty good. In the meantime you could work towards developing a particular skill in the area of your liking. I know of a mother who started a business in helping working women- corporate women understand various ways of caring for their children- since you are experience in that you can pursue such a venture. You dont have to have a job to bring bread home- use the little you have change it into a money making venture and you will be amazed how it will become more before you know it.

Of course giving up seems easy but with children it is not really a choice. Find a temp agency in your area, I couldn't find a job and the temp agency was able to get me work within a week. Sometimes 9 to 5 jobs are not all they are cracked up to be. Take ANY job willing to pay you. Fast food in your area? APPLY! Dignity and pride go out the door when you are really in need and some of the hardest working people you ever meet work fast food.

Im not in the exact situation as you but have had difficulty finding a job and eventually turned to the food service industry. I know that restaraunt work, whether it be a higher end sit down place or a fast food place isnt always ideal but it is money and well its a start. There seems to be a high turn around rate so they always seem to be hiring.

Start selling something. Maybe you prefer a job, but by selling something you will start on your own, it´s not easy to find what to sell, maybe it´s something you know how to do or how to help others to do...
Never give up!!!
There must be something that you can buy cheap and sell with a profit...
