I want to be me but i can't let my past run my life.

I can't always accept myself either. I try, and most of the time I succeed, but sometimes I hit dark patches where I just can't. I am trying to realize that is just a part of life.

We learn from experiences in our past. The past is the past and you must look forward. Deal with the here and now, not something that has happened and is over with. You can't change the past.
