What you need:
1. Belkin - Wireless-G Router with 4-Port Switch
a.set it so that the router does the pppoe connection(username and password.)
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=7012412&st=router&lp=12&type=product&cp=1&id=1099392876098
2.get a usb wireless card, i like linksys for this, they cost more but they work.
http://www.compusa.com/products/product_info.asp?pfp=SEARCH&Ntt=linksys+wireless+g+usb&N=0&Dx=mode+matchall&Nty=1&D=linksys+wireless+g+usb&Ntk=All&product_code=315672&Pn=USB_Network_Adapter_with_SpeedBooster
(bad price, just showing you what they look like)

setup:
1.hook the output of the dsl into the first port of router.
2.setup the router , set a wpa key.
3.plug the usb wireless into your computer.
4.install
5.connect to the belkin54g
done!

notes:
violation of contract with isp.(will never know)

use a good firewall.
Zone alarm is nice.

don't do anything that can be called a crime on your friends line, he will get busted for it and then he will hate you.

share one folder of all your music and videos, double you collection

think about getting a slingbox too so you can share you cable tv!

dude! level 0? did not know you could get that low.

In order to share one DSL connection between two computers, your friend should buy a router. It will set between the DSL modem and your PCs, and split the connection between two or more PCs. If you are looking to have one of the computers a long ways from the router (such as next doors), you may want to get a wireless router. Then get a wireless card or adaptor for the next door PC. Save you running a cable across the yard...

Note: Sharing your Internet connect with a neighbor is currently illegal (in the USA) and could result in fines or charges for both you and your neighbor. It is called "theft of services". (Just so you know in advance).

You can put a keylogger on his PC and watch every keystroke he makes. He may discover it though, so my humble opinion is tell him to quit clearing his history and you can then see where he has been. You do this yourself by going above to Tools, Internet Options, and put at least 3 days in the Clear History area about 2/3 of way down in the window. Also tell him to leave his temporary files alone. You are his parents, he is underage. You have every right to do this.
