Long before social standards and religious beliefs began to make a big deal out of periods and labelled it as unclean etc women and men were like all other mammals the bleeding was a sign she was ready to mate.
Not only are you at your horniest you are also at your most fertile. While one ova is being passed out of your body during your period the next one is already in the fallopian tube ready to be fertilised.
Four days before, during your period and four days after is generally your most fertile time.
You will find some men do mind very much, more because of the mess than anything else, some men have been taught it is 'wrong' so wont, and some men don't mind at all.

I believe it's a hormonal "nesting" thing you go through, have you ever noticed how much you clean and tidy at certain times of the month and then you wreck the place by wanting to be mad sh@ggers all over the house

She's purely 16, provide her time. i'm assuming both of you're youthful and also you've purely been mutually for 4 months, so she is truly perfect for desirous to attend, or no longer being waiting for it yet. do purely not rigidity her into doing something yet, wait till she comes to a decision she's waiting.

Just lately I've been feeling horny while on my period but I havent had any for quite a while so... I know GIRLS who thinks its gross to do it at this time of the month, personally it doesn't bother me and I know a fair few men who r quite willing to get their "red wings"!!!

I don't. I'm in too much pain and uncomfortable to care. Sex is the farthest thing on my mind at that time.
I don't get horny until the end of it.

I used to find this to be true, indeed. It has to do with increased circulation to the uterus during the period. And a lot of men find it a turn off which is natural, to them it's blood which is gross.
It does wear off as you get older.

I get so horny during my period! Its funny because my husband says that with his ex, he used to dread that time of the month because she had aweful PMS, but with me he cant wait til I start so we can get it on!
He definately does not mind!

Alot of the time I am hornier at my time of the month, but it is more towards the end of my cycle.. i cramp and bleed a lot at first.. so of course I am not too horney then... Horney is all natural baby! don't knock it :)
