My recommendation would be to ask some stylish friends to recommend a good salon, and go get a really different haircut and maybe even a color. Show up early and ask for some hair magazines to look through and pick out something you like, and then talk to the stylist and the 2 of you will figure out a cut that will work with your hair and is stylish. That is a fun thing to do that'll really change your look and surprise everyone you know. You'll get so many compliments! Don't forget to be daring - remember, you don't like what you've been doing so far. Have so much fun, ok?

Have you changed your hairstyle or color in awhile? Try that! Visit the make-up artists at the MAC or Stila counters and ask them to suggest something to amp up your make-up. As far as fashion is concerned, think of your body and what will be flattering, then try a trend or two. Just make sure what you try fits! Good luck and have fun!

I agree with pretty goth angel. I was looking kind of drab until I discovered how to put on eye makeup. Find a trio eyeshadow set with colors you like--put the mid shade on your eyelid, and then the darkest shade in the crease, up to your browbone, and then the lightest color on your browbone, just under your eyebrow. Blend them all together, put on some smoky eyeliner, then a couple of coats of mascara, and you'll feel fabulous.:)
PS-You can get the girls at makeup counters in the department stores to show you how to do your makeup if you're not sure.

Get an awesome hair cut. I am always looking to reinvent my image & the best way to do it is with a great cut, I go to ARCS and they do a fabulous job. Whats in now is the Sarah Wintour bob...
