i loved the departed as all around the best of the year.
funniest may have been talladega nights, or (a lot will say) borat.
and i havent seen it but the illusionist is supposed to be phenomenal

Unfortunately for me, I have not seen nearly as many movies this year as I would have wished. Of the ones I did see, I think the best was United 93. I was literally on the edge of my seat at the end, my fists clenched, my breath short. It was amazingly affecting.
