set up a system of equations
c = litres of cola
p = kilos of potatoes

78462c + 4555623p = 59635
673562c + 506180.333333 = 38456

(78462c + 4555623p = 59635)(-1/9)
673562c + 506180.333333 = 38456

-8718c - 506180.333333p = -6626.111111
673562c + 506180.333333 = 38456

add the two equations together to get rid of p

664844c = 31829.88889
c = .0479

plug c back into the first equation to get p
p = .0122

ANSWER
c = .0479
p = .0122

I think $300 in monthly health insurance.

let c = cost of cola, p = cost of potato

78462c + 4555623p = 59635 {1}
673562c + 506180p = 38456 {2}

solve for c or p, by multiply {1} with 673562 and {2} with 78462.
