The answer is: sometimes yes - most of the time NO
If somebody called betty grub, use the e-mail address betty_grubs@yahoo.com and is very active in newsgroup and Yahoogroups - then you will be able to search this person e-mail address
However most of the time, most people want to rpotect their privacy and use a pseudonym for e-mail address
This will continue unless any born baby will start with an IP address and a unique e-mail address. This will happened only if the whole world is governed by a tiran who control everything

e.g. Mona Gold is the persons name , try 'mona' 'gold' 'email' at yahoo or google search u got a 25 % chance of getting email
also use combination of keywords including name on search engine the best combo is name + organization
