Just wait if you have any bleeding and then call your doctor. there is really nothing they could do for you anyway. Just try and relax and good luck.

The cramping is probably not associated with the fall, since you usually have period like cramping in the begining.
Usually falling isnt a major threat in the first trimester. Tumbling and rolling down the stairs would be a cause for concern. Slipping and bumping down the steps is different.
If you fell very hard, or landed for the most part on your belly, then yes you should definitly get checked out.
Your best bet is to call your OB's office, let them know what happened, and see if they want you to go to the ER and get screened.

Okay Listen to me...I have lost 2 children and Cramping and spotting is not a good thing...There is a huge risk when you fall down the stairs.....GO TO THE DOC OR HOSPITAL!!!! There might not be anything you can do about it....Just remember that things happen for a reason and I will pray for you...and for your beautiful unborn child.! Don't ever take the chance if you feel odd call the doc if your bleeding call the doc cramping call the doc this is something you should take immediate action on so if you haven't went and your still cramping and bleeding i suggest you get up and move your butt down to the docs office or hospital GOOD LUCK! and May god be on your side

Call your doctor now! You can never be to safe or to paranoid when it comes to the life and health of our chidren. You go 2 the doc twice a day if you feel the need too. Better safe than sorry.

I feel down the stairs at around 4 months along, and I was fine. If it makes you feel more comfortable just call your doctor and have them check you out. The baby is in a nice safe place .

Of course there are risks! Are you serious? Falling down the stairs while pregnant can lead to miscarriage, for one thing.

i say yes that u should go just to make sure. u dont want anything bad happening to the baby. my sister fell down the stairs at 6 months and they had to do emergincy c-section. not trying to make u scared but just lettin u know that sometimes falling isnt good. so yes i'd go to ur dr's and make sure ur ok.

See you doctor. Never be to afraid to call the doctor no matter what. They are used to getting calls for every reason. Take no chances when it comes to the baby.

Definitely see your doctor or call. It's normal to be paranoid, if it was me I would be at the hospital trying to get an ultrasound to see if the baby if alright.
