Derby Pie
heres the recipe my mom bakes this and people love it its gone in a matter of minutes.
1 stick butter softened
1 1/4 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 tbsp vinegar
1stp vanilla extract
1 tbsp bourbon rum
Mix all the above ingredients together. Then cover the bottom of the pie shell with:
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup pecans
Use enough chocolate chips and pecans to cover the bottom of the pie shell.

You could make a Pecan Pie. That is a must for my family at Thanksgiving. Here is a recipe. Good Luck!!
Pecan Pie
INGREDIENTS
1 (9 inch) deep dish pie crust
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecans
3 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup white sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In a medium mixing bowl, blend together cream cheese, 1/3 cup sugar, and 1 teaspoon vanilla. When mixture is smooth, spread into bottom of pastry shell. Sprinkle cream cheese layer with chopped pecans.
In another medium mixing bowl, combine eggs, 1/4 cup sugar, corn syrup, evaporated milk, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Whisk until mixture is smooth. Pour mixture over pecan layer.
Bake in preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes, until set in center.

The Chocolate fudge pie is my favorite. Here is the recipe.
Chocolate fudge pie
INGREDIENTS
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 cups milk
6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 pinch salt
2 egg yolks
1/2 tablespoon butter flavored extract
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon margarine
1 (9 inch) pie shell, baked
DIRECTIONS
Mix in a medium saucepan and cook until thick the white sugar, cocoa, milk, flour, dash, salt, egg yolks, and butter flavoring. Add in the vanilla and margine and remove from heat. Let cool.
Put into baked pie crust and top with your favorite meringue recipe. Cool in refridgerator.

INGREDIENTS:
* 1 cup confectioners' sugar
* 1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
* 1 pie shell, 9-inch, baked
* .
* Filling:
* 2/3 cup sugar
* 1/4 cup cornstarch
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
* 2 cups milk, scalded
* 3 egg yolks, beaten
* 2 tablespoons butter
* 1 teaspoon vanilla
PREPARATION:
Combine peanut butter and confectioners' sugar; blend well. Spread all but 3 tablespoons over the bottom of the baked pie shell. Save remaining peanut butter mixture for topping.
In a medium saucepan, blend sugar, cornstarch, and salt.
Slowly stir in scalded milk then place over medium heat. Cook, stirring constantly, until smooth. Quickly stir about 1/3 of the hot mixture into the beaten egg yolks. Add the egg yolk mixture back to the pan, along with the butter. Continue cooking and stirring until thickened. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Pour over peanut butter mixture.
Meringue:
* 3 egg whites
* 3 tablespoons sugar
* 1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar
Beat egg whites, sugar, and cream of tartar until stiff but not dry. Spread over filling. Sprinkle remaining peanut butter mixture over meringue. Place in 300° oven until meringue is lightly browned. Chill the peanut butter pie, or serve at room temperature. Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
Serves 8.

You could just make a chocolate cream pie. That's usually a big favorite. Custard pie's really yummy too!

Chocolate french silk with a graham cracker crust. Use the recipe below but omit the frozen pie crust and make your own using crushed graham crackers and melted butter.

usually pumpkin or sweet potatoe pie, but you should do a french silk pie...nothing but chocolate!!!! yummmmmm
