How come you did not mention your own nationality? Anyway, I've lived in some African countries and really liked the environments - very friendly and stress free. I've also lived in the USA and was in fact very disappointed - very stressful and hostile society (despite the diversity), especially down south in Texas.

I'm Italian and now I live in Italy. For almost one year I lived in London for studying purposes.Actually I had a great time there. It gave the chance of meeting people from all over the world and also to make an experience in a big city given that I live in a small village here.On the other hand I found big city life quite stressful and talking about British people I'm sorry but I must say all those I meet were not friendly and sociable at all.I don't know if it's because they're shy or whatever but it's very difficult to socialize with them.
But all in all I miss the place sooo much!!!

I'm Scottish. I have lived in Scotland (obviously) England and New Zeland. I think New Zeland was a wonderful place to live so lush and green and the people are so laid back and friendly. Scotland well what can i say its fantastic, cosmopolitan, Historical and the people are very open with a wonderful sense of humor. England well although i have met some lovely English people on the whole I find them to be a bit distant and not as friendly. Its not so culturally diverse as where i lived in Scotland and not so picturesque either. But it could be worse i suppose.

I lived in Ireland until I was 12 and now live in California. I hold dual-citizenship.
I've also lived or spent significant time in Canada (Vancouver, BC), Australia, and Hong Kong. All were fun, but I love LA.

I'm American. I've lived in the Portland, OR area, Los Angeles, CA area, and in Cork, Ireland.
Portland is fabulous, I'd live in Cork still if it wasn't so far from my family, and LA was fun but I can't live there.
I prefer laid back, environmentally conscious cities and I don't like hot weather.
