Here's what we had for last year's Super Bowl, and it's excellent (Sorry for all the caps; it was writting out by someone who sent it to me):
BEAN DIP
1 REG. 15/OZ CAN REFRIED BEAN (FAT FREE OR REG)
1 TACO SEASONING (ONLY USE ABOUT 1/4 TO 1/2 PACKET)
1 TUB FROZEN GUACAMOLE - 8 TO 10oz ( I get this a WalMart in the frozen section - 2 pack) Can you fresh ones but frozen is better.
1 16/oz SOUR CREAM ( if you want to spice the dish up you can put green chile peppers or jalapeno's and mix in the sour cream)
1 CUP SHREDDED CHEDDAR & MONTERRY JACK CHEESE
2 SMALL TOMATOES DICED
1 SMALL CAN BLACK OLIVES - SLICED OR DICED
2 LARGE BAGS OF PLAIN TORILLA CHIPS
OPEN CAN REFRIED - PUT IN A 10 X 13 GLASS BAKING DISH - SPRINKLE THE SEASONING ON THE BEANS AND MIX UP. SPREAD BEANS ACCROSS BOTTOM OF PAN MAKING A THIN LAYER.
THAW THE TUB OF GUACAMOLE SEVERAL HOURS BEFORE USE. DROP BY SPOONFULLS ON TOP OF BEAN DIP - SPREAD OUT ACCROSS BEANS
TAKE SOUR CREAM OUT ABOUT 1/HR BEFORE USE (EASIER TO SPREAD) - DROP BY SPOONFULLS ON TOP OF GUACAMOLE - SPREAD CAREFULLY COVERING THE LAYER OF GUACAMOLE
SPRINKLE SHREDDED CHEESE EVENLY ACCROSS THE MIXTURE
PLACE DICED TOMATOES AND BLACK OLIVES ON TOP.
WILL KEEP FOR SEVERAL DAYS IN FRIDGE.
