First off, let me say that I'm neither a liberal, conservative, nor libertarian. I take a more authoritarian, nationalistic, populist, and communitarian view with my politics.
Let me begin by saying that Bush is a complete idiot who "worked" his way up through nepotism and political connections. He's a bumbling chimpanzee who is NOT qualified to be in office. However, that doesn't mean he's the Satan or Hitler that liberals want to make him out to be. Yes, he's started a war I don't agree with that's killed people but what the hell? Every country's leader is going to have people that die under his watch. They can't be responsible for every single little death that occurs. And if he were truly like Hitler, he'd be encouraging the masses to attack Muslims on the street and possibly even sending every single one of them to internment camps. The real truth of the matter is... liberals hate Bush the same way conservatives hate Clinton.
In conclusion, Bush is a dumbass but a Hitler he is definitely not.

Of course he's comparable. Anyone is. If you mean if the comparison is at all relevent, that depends.
Neo-liberals tend to use phrases as extreme as they are to try to win people over. Or just insult someone.
Mainly the connections are just some far-right tendencies by Mr. Bush. Whether you're left or right you have to understand that President Bush is far Right conservative. Not saying as far right as Hitler, but he is. So many people immediately claim he's a fascist nazi.
It's very ridiculous. Sure, I don't like Bush but he's NO WHERE as bad as Hitler. (don't think I'm ok with you conservatives either. Both you neo-liberals and neo-conservatives need to grow up and learn that we're all Americans and GET OVER YOURSELVES)
{edit}
One more thing. You idiots who think that Hitler was socialist just because of what NAZI stands for, doesn't understand the concept. He USED that name to win votes in the extremist country left used after WWI. His actions were far from socialist.

The only connection is because some very immature people on YA! think Hitler is the worst leader ever (they didn't study in history class either) and want to draw a comparison with he and President Bush.

Bush and Hitler are about as much alike as...
Comparing the The Vietnam War to the Iraq War
Claiming that the US Government is responsible for what happened on 9/11
The War in Iraq is all about oil.
In other words, they are nothing alike.
It certainly is predictable hearing it though. I don't even bother responding to such ridiculous comments. It is a waste of time and energy and frankly, the people that continually make claims like those mentioned are not worth my time or yours for that matter. Let them say what they want. They are only preaching to each other. The people who really matter don't pay attention either.
Remember that Sway.... hang in there kiddo... things will turn around.

Hitler substitute into all approximately hate, President Bush is all approximately battling for freedom. i myself see wanting freedom for all people as love. The Bush haters who communicate so poorly approximately who he's, are extra like Hitler in case you question me.

Lol. I am actually going to try and explain the line of thinking on this to you. I feel that it has been misused by alot of people who simply hate Bush so they compare him to the greatest evil the 20th century has known. They just take parts of things and make it fit their logic. So this may be long but I am going to honestly try to explain it as best I can.As long as you keep an open mind you should be able to see what is meant.
The atmosphere of Germany during Hitlers time, can be compared to today, with the Bush adminstrations fanatical beliefs, they try to stress that the muslims want to kill us and we must be in constant fear of them and in constant fear of terror and who knows what will happen next. Hitler persecuted the Jews, he blamed them for all his countries troubles, instead of seeing that the blame lay with his country. Bush tries to make terrorism so simple, they hate us for our freedom, when that is just not the case. It is far more complex than that and deeply rooted in our manipulation of middle eastern governments that have oil supplys.(yup bringin up the oil again) Our country takes no blame for what have we have caused and is attacking the cause in a manner that makes no sense.
Hitler inspired blind loyalty in his followers much like Bush does. Hitler was by what I have read a charismatic speaker who related to the people well, which while I may not like Bush or his speech patterns he does relate to his core voting base well.
So when I compare Bush to Hitler I am not comparing them man to man I am comparing them ideals to ideals. They have two different goals which can also be very similar when boiled down to the basics.

They both "weasled" their way into positions of power by using manipulation tactics based on knowing how their own countries operated. :o) Hitler was more of a self made leader, while Bush was born into a family of leaders & learned from the inside.

Bush compares unfavorably to Hitler.First of all, Hitler was efficient. Second, he made no bones about his insane ideas. Third, Hitler wasn't a Republican.
