I'm a teenager and I'm not treated like a kid. I respect my elders. I get what I give out.

Well said, Misery. Age isn't a number, it's an attitude of confidence without *********. It's a track record of choices & decisions including thoughtful & respectful behavior toward oneself & others. It is the energy that a person puts out that will rebound back onto them.
I've known many teens who were more mature than quite a few adults & the opposite is also true.

basically because you still act like kids. and you never admit your wrong and you think you know everything about life and when someone tries to tell you something you just give an attitude. a lot is not your faults your body is going thur a lot of changes and if you really think about it there is only a couple of years different between being a child and being a teen. but eventually you grow out of that stage. and become an adult. so just hang in there and enjoy being young while you can!

Sometimes adolescents act like kids. We get treated the way we act.
Edit: It's clear why you get treated like a kid, if you ask a question and you can't use decent grammar and spelling you shouldn't be surprised at comments suggesting you're the result of public education.
