You'll have about as much luck finding out who you were in the past as to who you will be in the future. With the ever growing population, the USA just hit 300 Million not too long ago, it's not realistic for me to believe in past lifes. It seems that if reincarnation were real, where in the heck are all these extra people/souls coming from? I guess we all have our own opinions.

i think most people responding misunderstand past life theory. under Hindu cosmology you can't really learn about it in a profile fashion. by following the laws of the universe it makes sense that you shouldn't be able to explore it. it can't be examined directly. don't let psychics or crap like that tell you. its a scam. indirectly you can have intuitions about it bu t it probably won't make sense in the conventional sense. it is the accumulation of you so start there. don't think it's some mystical glorification. it is what you already are but just more of a different way of self-inspection that we are not used to in the west. it's like a subtle energy. you have probably had glimpses and will continue to do so through out this life and others. good luck and spiral out!

I don't really believe in past lives but people usually say they dream about their previous life. Supposebly the dream tells all. However, you can look at your greatest fear, and your attitude. For example, if you are a really elegant person and are afraid of closed spaces. You were a princess who was buried alive or stuff like that. Um, you can contact a "psychic" like Sylvia Browne. She tells people stuff like that.
