Yes, you should, and I will tell you why I think so...because a long time back,I spent about two years of my life having "feelings" for my best male friend...I was too chicken to tell him...well, I finally did, and we dated for a short while, but it didn't last...today, about 10 years later, we are still friends...but I will tell you, things WERE awkward when the "relationship" didn't work out, and the friendship was damaged for a while, but like I said, we are still friends today and I since then met and fell in love with and married my now husband...so the moral of my story is, that although it is risky and scarey, it is better to tell him how you feel than "waste" months and months wondering "what if", life is too short...the worst thing that could happen is that he tells you he only sees you as a friend, and after the initial awkwardness, you will move on but you can still be friends, and who knows, maybe he will say that he feels the same way! Good luck! Be brave!

You dont really have all that much to lose. Besides, he probably already has figured it out. When boys and girls are bestfriends, usually there is some sort of attraction, and thats what keeps them tied. Who knows... He could have a crush on you too.

Yes you should tell him. My husband and I were best friends for 2 years before we started dating. One day we were talking and I said to him I think I love you. He then said to me I love you too. Now almost 6 years together we are newlyweds and are very happy. I know it may seem like a risk but it is definitely worth it.

Depends if you think he likes you. If you feel that he doesn't then do you want to risk the good relationship that you have right now? Most of the time when somebody tells you that they like you then you look at them a little different after wards, especially if you don't like them. If you think that he likes you then go right ahead and good luck to you.

i dont know the entire situation but from experience, i say you should. if u dont u could live to regret what might have been, and if he is truely that close of a friend than hopefully it wont ruin your relationship but at the same time it is entirely possible that he feels the same way. i would take the time to ask him how he feels and what he wants

yes! tell him how u feel and be sure to state that if he doesnt feel the same then u want to stay friends. the most importan thing is stating that u want to remain friends no matter how he feels about you to taking it to the next step.
