who claimed he was busy and couldnt hang out, only to find that he had other plans that he didnt want you to know about (not cheating)?????

Yes. That means he's just not that into you and you should stop seeing him.

I've had that happen to me before, and seen it happen many times to friends. Doing this kind of thing contains two key elements that lead to failed relationships.

1. Lying
2. Distrust.

If a person is not cheating, they should be honest with their partner about what they're doing. Having other plans is perfectly fine and normal. On the flip side, the partner should understand and not get angry when her boyfriend wants to do something without her. Having space and other friends is important.

Lying to each other means you don't trust each other - and lying will only lead to more trust issues. Without trust, there is no relationship.

He either doesn't feel comfortable telling about his other plans (maybe scared you may go off) or he just doesn't want to be around you.

Either way let him know you know and ask him which it is. If its the going off thing then don't go off.

Depends on what the plans were...if he's going to chemotherapy treatment or helping the homeless, you can't break up with him for THAT!!!
