with unconditional love I would gladly "give-up" my life for my love ones. my act of service need not be known to them. that's what's unconditional love is all...
besides, i don't believe i die anyway. I believe the body acts as the carrier of my spirit. i welcome freedom.

People who truly love someone would die for that person,especially their children.Them knowing it shouldn't bother you,just the fact you are willing to do is the real love in this case,not doing it for your own glory,or to be thought of as brave or anything.

I would like to say yes, and I believe that I would. But only a true situation will tell. And if I did hesitate I am sure it would it be very hard to live with the consequences.

It really would depend on the circumstances. I don't have any children but I am very close to my nieces and nephews and children of friends ... so would do anything, including give up my life, to make theirs better if I thought my life would save theirs. However, I am not scared of death ... so that helps!

i would prefer it if they didn't know i had done it. i wouldn't want them to feel guilty for the rest of their lives... they would miss alot of life because of that guilt, which kinda defies the point of doing it.
