My dr. said he'd prefer I stay away from decongestants, and my maternity nursing books say "avoid over the counter medications." Sudafed is apparently safe, but I personally don't feel that anything you need an I.D to buy can be that safe (isn't sudafed and ingredient for meth......?). My doctor said he's comfortable with me taking Claritin AS NEEDED, and not on a daily basis. Allergies are a common pregnancy issue, I walked around with a box of kleenex the entire first trimester. A humidifier and Vicks Vapor Rub on my chest really helped. Best of luck!

Yes. For Colds, Congestion and allergies you can take: Robitussin/DM Cough, Triaminic/DM Cough, Chlor- Trimeton, Sudafed and Benadryl. Avoid all medications that contain alchohol, Ibuprofen, Naproxin, Aspirin or zinc.
This info comes from a packet I recieved from my Doctor. If it makes you feel better, call your doctor for another opinion..
Hope you feel better soon!

The best thing would be to call your doctor before you take anything! You would not want to harm your little bundle of joy!!! Hope you feel better!!!
