Don't panic - Depo can cause pregnancy symptoms, including missed periods. If you are concerned about it though, it is always better to be safe than sorry. WalMart has an inexpensive pregnancy test, Dollar General has a dollar one, and many, many places offer free pregnancy tests. Those places are generally very pro-life type places, so if you might consider abortion or just don't want to be quizzed a bunch about what you might do with the baby, you might also check out Planned Parenthood (good testing, very non-judgmental, slding scale of fees.)

It's probably just the depo, but if you are unsure, buy the test! They aren't that expensive and knowing is pretty important!
My friend tried depo and it made her very nauseous plus she didn't get her period at all for a year so she was constantly wondering if she was pregnant or not. She didn't like not knowing so she switched methods.

I wouldn't start stressing unless you have missed your period. I was on the depo shot for 3months and I bled all 3 of those months. I would not recommend anyone to be on depo!! Maybe you should try the nuvaring (if you are trying not to get pregnant)

Ask your doctor. He or she should have told you how long you have to be on the shot before it it effective. If you are pregnant, Tell your doctor and don't take the shot. Try a pregnancy test if you can't get to your doctors soon enough.
