no. it is not my business to change history if I were sent back in time. everything has its purpose, even that evil man and his group of dogs.

besides, who am i to second guess the plan of a higher power...
no matter how much I would love to have saved humankind from the acts of that evil monster.

if i had killed him, then just perhaps, just perhaps the next one would have done even greater damage.

Yes. And no. Yes because even though he was a great dictator (not least to say an evil one) it would prevent such a waste of life. All those millions of lives lost during the battles and the jews in the concentration camps still makes people well up even today.
But I would say no because he had other Henchmen who were also evil so what is to say that they would not have done it. Hitler was not the only person in the world to hate the Jewish people. Not just Jews, the third Reich, the way he brainwashed everyone and peope were scared into not voting for him. He had supporters so there was other people who had the same notions as him.
By the way im not jewish.
It aslo makes you think about the way people are with the likes of respect. How would people have turned out. There is still a generation of peopel around linked to the war, Grandads parents and there are people who are too young who dont know and therefore have no respect for older people. Would society be how it is if there wasnt a war? There was a baby boom afterwards. Its difficult to say because we dont know the outcome of the other way. It may not always be the best outcome.

They are CHILDREN. Not dictators (though admittedly my toddler seems to be an aspiring one!), not terrorists, (again showing some similarities ;-) ) but children. How could anybody even consider killing a child regardless of the adult they become and the decisions they make as an adult. Nurture, change, educate, even despair if all else fails, but don't waste your time thinking about killing the innocent to prevent them from potentially committing a crime.

That could be dangerous. The future would change, and the world could end up being a worse place as a result. A very small change could make a massive difference.

It's like when Homer Simpson accidentally converted his toaster in to a time machine. He went back to the dinosaur era, and killed them all with his cold.

NO. This puts you in the same realm as HIM. Killing someone to make the world better is still homicide. However, I could conceivable go back and keep his father from being killed early in Adolph's life, thus changing how Adolph grew up - and possibly keeping Germany free from his tyranny.

The good old Time-Travel paradox - if you COULD do that (and chose to do it) then you would have done it, and wouldn't even be able to think of the question.

If you went back and killed your own father before you were concieved, you wouldn't be here to go back and kill him - see? it goes around in circles until you get dizzy.

Not really, what would Germany be like today if he was?

I'd go back and kill Bin Laden as a child though.

No. There is nothing to say that amongst the Jews that he murdered there wasn't two or three people that could of turned out to be worse than him and therefore caused more death and destruction. (not a defence of Nazism)

i would say no, part of the way he turned out, had to do with the way he raised, the enviroment, and the plan and simple timing of the world around him. it would be the butterfly effect.

Even if I could go back in time, I would not kill, because I am not a killer.
