I'm not convinced that there is equality. Men make more, men hold the higher positions, men make the big decisions- there ya go- 3 reasons why there IS NO equality in the workplace.

There isn't equality.


1)Women make 75 cents to every dollar a man makes.
2)We get treated like a peice of meat around the work palce.
3)And a woman that has 20 years experience with the company will get passed over for a college graduate boy.
4)When in presentations, a woman will give an idea that is shot down, the next day a man wilkl give the SAME idea, and get promoted.

This is everything I've seen within my own company.

When I woked at JC penny's, I did ALL the lifting in the stock room, That particualr JC Penny's branch had only one man working there, in shoes. How heavy can a shoe box be. What about me working in home trying to lift a bed display that is ten times my size?

My mother worked, and my father was the stay home parent. Not ALL women get time off for maternity leave, since when does everyone follow the law?

You say Equality?

I worked a job running machines. A women was drawing equal pay as the men. The Machine she was running had to be loaded with 100 lb roles of strap metal. Well, Well. now, the woman ran the machine as well as the men. But. when the machine ran out of stock and had to be reloaded. She was not able to lift the 100lb roll unto the machine. A male employee drawing the same pay had to stop his job to load the machine for her.
Now, women want equal treatment and pay as the men. There are a lot of jobs women cannot do that require Brut strength that a women is not capable of handling but at the same time she cries equal pay. Women do not belong in the fox hole with the men. and some areas in the work place woman do not belong and they should be paid accordingly.

Not all jobs involve physical labor. What about white collar jobs where women do the same amount of work, if not more, and still get paid less.

I'm not convinced there is equality either. At many stores MEN bring in the shopping carts not women, MEN lift the heavy things not women.

Because the government has to protect the weak females and ensure they get jobs by passing legislation that punishes companies that give men jobs they deserve.

Women also take large amounts of time off to take care of their children- which other workers have to pick up the slack.

Women actually get paid more than men in comparable jobs.
