IRON IS MORE REACTIVE> Although carbon forms many more compounds than iron, it would just as soon sit around and not react. iron sitting around would rust.

This is an apples/orange thing. Iron forms ionic bonds and Carbons covalent bonds.

Carbons has the greatest possibilities-still two different horses.

Get an "A".

depends on what kind of iron and what you are reacting each substance with but carbon is probably more reactive.

i hate organic chemistry. my professor is from cal tech and hes so damn hard.
