I have a developer placed, GE Nautilas dishwasher that stopped working. The bottom is full of water and I when I turn the dial, I can hear (and see at the bottom) the soliniod being accessed, but it doesn't start. Any ideas?

I'ts possible the motor circuit tripped. Check for a button on the side or bottom of the motor and press to reset. Also make sure there are no objects stuck in the bottom of the tub. If all else fails, have the developer replace it, should be under warranty.

Most dishwashers have a sort of shut-off if the water uptake line for dirty water is blocked, or if the pump has ceased to function. The reason is that otherwise you'd have water all over the place. You might want to call a service company (Sears is pretty good, believe it or not) and have them come look at it. P.S. It's an expensive repair, and you might be better off with a new dishwasher.
