Newlyweds equals unlimited sex drives. But after the honeymoon stage of the relationship has ended it seems that we are more level headed and so sex often times decreases. Once children are part of the family it often takes second or third place or lower as the amount of time required for these little creatures takes up some of the time people used to spend together making love. Much like a seesaw after a while the sex drive will have highs and lows and this is very normal in relationships.

For us
Years 0-1 probably 5 times a week
years 2-4 probably 3 times a month
years 5-6 probably 2 times a week
year 7 (current) more than ever - in the last month probably average 10 times a week (except period week).
When the kids were little and the money low and the stress of having to grow up high, it drops off a lot. But if you survive it, it will likely get better.

Depends on the individuals, at least once a day (minimum), my opinion. Children have to be elsewhere, asleep, kept busy. Some people don't like sex so much after having children. Children have to learn boundaries, about privacy, respecting others time, alone or with another. Start at an early age.

There is an old story that says, put a jar beside your bed and during the first year, drop a bean in the jar every time you have sex. After the first year, take a bean out of the jar every time you have sex. You will never empty the jar.

some people think that by being newly married, then they have to have too much sex, Wrong!

a smart man should realize that his energy may decline later in years, so to not show any changes in sex life, he should first start slow 2-5 times a week, so later he can show no change in his sex ability. i prefer slow then more Rather than more and slow.

when you are newlyweds have as much sex as you can cause when the babies arrive the sex goes down to like 25%, and is just logic. when you are newlyweds you have no worries but to have sex. and when you babies arrive you have to make sure the they are taking care of every single need.

well when i was newly marriages, we had sex like rabbits.it was just me and him in our own little world.
when children come along, you have to share your time, taking care of a newborn is alot of work, they require alot of your attention, your up all crazy hours of the night, and your tired as hell, so yes its normal to not think about sex as much as you did before a baby.
but things settle down, you adjust to the babies schedule,
always set aside time for your husband, and yourself, keep your marriage fresh and alive.
you can still have a good sexual relationship, but you do have to work around that little persons schedule also :)
