Talk to your parents and figure out if you all think you are ready.
A reputable place will require your parents' permission (like if you were having a tattoo). If they don't ask for your parents' permission, I would be worried that they were irresponsible and might not be careful of the sanitary issues.

I'd like to rephrase the question a bit. SHOULD a girl of 14 get her belly-button pierced? Not that I think it's only for older girls, but I don't think a girl of 14 should be showing off her stomach that much. Too much skin at such a young age.

If you haveyour moms permission then she can go with you and your age won't matter depending on the tatoo parlor's policies.
Other than that you have to be like 16 +some places here in NYC

No.. thats a clumsy age to get ur abdomen button accomplished.. : maybe wait til ur like 17. nicely thats what i might do if i became a woman. lol ..and if I considered a 14 year previous with a abdomen button ring.. i might think of... hmmm she's exceedingly youthful to be exhibiting her abdomen like that.. yet thats purely me. good success. lol

You have to be 18 without parental permission but if your parents consent and sign the papers you can get it done at any age.

You can get it done now if a parent or guardian goes with you to sign the papers. If none of them go with you then you must be 18.

You can get it done as long as u have someone over 21 w/u.... It could be a sister/brother/cousin/or anybody it doesn't have 2 be a parent.

well if you go with an adult you can get it whenever you want, no age limits! but if you wanna do it on your own, it just depends on the placec you go...some say 16, others say 18...if i were you, id just have someone(friend or family member) over 18 take me, thats what i did!!

i agree with bud c. i think you're too young. and also there are many risks, esp. health, of having a bellybutton piercing. i think it'd get old fast as well. don't even do it.
