A 54 year old who can still pull off a pair of "real" wranglers? Oh yeah, plus he can sing? Hell yeah. Too bad he's happily married and about 30 years older than me...lol.
(I'll admit I've got a little crush...lol.)
No, in all seriousness, I love George. Whenever one of his songs come on the radio, I hear the first few chords, realize what song it is, and get this cheesy grin on my face. (Drawing some weird looks from people in passing cars ALL THE TIME.) Can't wait til Feb...he's doing 2 shows in this area, and I'm a fanclub member just for the presales...yay!

I have liked George Strait since I first heard him sing. I think he is a stand up guy. Anyway he acts and looks like one.

i love george strait! my dad is a country singer as well, and his biggest influence is george so i grew up around his kind of music my entire life. i seen him in concert in st louis in 2003 and it was one of the best experiences of my life. he really puts his heart and soul into his music, and even after all these years in the business he still plays and sings the same way he did when he first started and i love it anyway. i cant even think of a song of his that i dont love. hes amazing

My Mom Loved him so as in memory of her I added him to myspace and he my top 8.I like a couple songs by him,but my mom use to always say He my man well her man,even in front of my Dad lol. My Mom passed away 9/28/05 so I don't listen to him much anymore

I think George is one of the best male country vocalists. In his videos though, why doesn't he ever play that guitar he's always holding???

I have always enjoyed his music and saw him in concert several times. I also think the movie "Pure Country" was very well done. The best part of it of course was his music throughout the film.
