heres a story for you...i know its long but it directly answers your question...read it, LET IT REALLY SINK IN - THEN CHOOSE.
John is the kind of guy you love to hate. He is always in a good mood and always has something positive to say.
He was a natural motivator.
If an employee was having a bad day, John was there telling the employee how to look on the positive side of the situation.
Seeing this style really made me curious, so one day I went up and asked him, "I don't get it!
You can't be a positive person all of the time. How do you do it?"
He replied, "Each morning I wake up and say to myself, you have two choices today. You can choose to be in a good mood or ... you can choose to be in a bad mood.
I choose the positive side of life.
"Life is all about choices. When you cut away all the junk, every situation is a choice. You choose how you react to situations. You choose how people affect your mood.
You choose to be in a good mood or bad mood. The bottom line: It's your choice how you live your life."
I learned from him that every day we have the choice to live fully.
Attitude, after all, is everything.
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Matthew 6:34.
After all today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday.

I have heard (and I believe it), that there are no bad attitudes. Rather, it is simply an attitude that doesn't fit in with its current location. You have strengths and weaknesses in your personality, you should find a job (or basically any situation) that caters to your strengths while limiting your weaknesses.
If for example you are good with people but not so much with numbers, you wouldn't be an accountant. You could try cashier (who has to deal with people all the time), but this engages both strengths and weaknesses. But if you were to become a tour guide for example, well it plays to your strength of good customer service while limiting your exposure to numbers that an accountant or cashier would have to deal with.
You must look at yourself objectively, look at what you are good at and what you aren't, then modify your situation to fit it. Often a good way to do this is to take an aptitude test, you can find them on the internet often or if you go to a job placement center they may help you to find one so that you can find out what your strengths and weaknesses are.

A bad attitude is what people say you have when they want you to bend over and take it up the butt without complaint.

Bad attitude... how? Maybe you could learn how to deal with things that get on your nerves now... learn how to sope with them. But you should be a little more specific so we know exactly how you have a bad attitude.

try listening to people more, that'll help you respect them. Then put yourself in their place and your attitude towards them will be better.
