I also have to ask whould the period be different this early? usally mine last 3-5 days, and are very heavy, but this one seems lighter and might be done already...or it could be the new medication im taking for depression called celexa, although its been 2 months since i started taking them and this is the first time my period has been affected with it....IM SO CONFUSED

Yes, it is possible to still have a period and be pregnant at the same time...however, this is not considered healthy activity. Also, the meds that you are on would have presented these types of issues within the first month of taking them...as with birth control, that does the same thing, side effects present quite early. Best advice would be to go to the doctor and get blood work done for pregnancy and talk with them about the other meds while you are there...it is better to ask doctors too many questions than not enough.

You can't have a period while you're pregnant (really, you can't--menstruation is when the uterine lining sheds itself and this does not happen during pregnancy). You *can*, however, have spotting or light bleeding caused by something other than menstruation (sometimes women mistake this for periods, which is why some go so long without realizing they're pregnant). If your bleeding is really light and didn't last long, it's possible that it's implantation bleeding. Or, you're not pregnant and you just had a light period.

Yeah you can be pregnant and still have your period. I didn't think I was pregnant because I had a slight period. But as it turns out I am 3 months today. Had no clue. So yeah you can. I did.

Yes, you can but it would still be to early to take a pregnancy test. I would wait till next month and if you're still worried then go take the test.

My mother had her period for all nine months with all four of her children. Please contact your doctor and set up an appointment. There is not sure way of knowing you are pregnant unless you take a blood test. Good luck.

You could definitely be pregnant. Don't listen to some of these people, because some people tell you that you can't be because you've had your period but that isn't true. Everyone is different!

Yes there can be. My sister had her's for 9 months, hardly gained any weight & then BOOM, contractions. Consult a HPT or a blood test to confirm.
