and the people with SUV's who think they own the road, and the soccar mom's in their mini vans talking on cell phones not paying attention to anything.

NO one knows how to drive anymore. i mean, i drive a BRIGHT RED eclipse and every other person out there just comes over in my lane when i'm next to them. it makes me soooo mad that so many people dont bother to look when they drive. this morning alone, this guy was in the far left turn lane, i was in the lane next to him (turn lane as well) and we both turned and he didnt even stay in his lane, he just turned into mine and i had to drive off into the ditch just to not get hit!! its like WTF!? i was sitting next to you at the light, how the hell could you NOT SEE ME?!?!?

ARGH!!!!!

Teenagers drive because they must learn how to drive the right way and we aren't allowed to learn under the age of 16. Which is teenager years.

This means that no matter what you can't win unless the government changes the law to a younger age, which they won't do. So despite one person having a fuzzy fit over how bad people drive there just isn't anything to do about it.

Though I do believe that elderly people shouldn't be allowed on the road. They're older, and if they need something from a store they should have another family member go get it. My grandma however, drives just fine on the road :) so I can't complain too much.

I think the best drivers are the ones who start young with plenty of adult supervision. I know that there are some kids who may drive too fast but have seen numerous adults who drive way to fast too. As far as the elderly go I can agree up to a point. If they cannot see over the steering wheel then they need to adjust their seats so they can. They also need to keep up with the flow of traffic. It would be nice to have a random testing done every now and then for everyone who may have problems with eyesight and also have tests done to see if their reactions are good in response to any given situation. I do however think that there are many older people who drive very well. Do not let the traffic get to you though. Road rage will not improve everyone's driving.

the reality which you asked this question exhibits which you're very being concerned & style. maximum individuals do no longer even pay interest to their pals, no longer to point show venture approximately an elderly individual! we've an elderly individual who lives around the line from us (she is 97 years old!) She is a former college instructor, her husband kicked the bucket some years in the past, and her infants stay far-off, yet do save up a correspondence together with her. even if, we do look in on her a minimum of as quickly as a week, plow the snow for her, and often only bring about to talk. Her ideas is amazingly sharp, and in spite of the reality that she does walk with a cane, she nevertheless drives! sooner or later i ended over to assert hi just to earnings that she substitute into no longer feeling nicely, and unable tocontinual herself to be certain the healthcare expert. I asked her why she did no longer call & let us know, and he or she replied that she would not choose for to be a nuisance, and thought that she could take a taxi to the healthcare expert. needless to say, I drove her to the healthcare expert, and he or she is wonderful now. i could say sure, do end over to assert hi now & then. Take some cookies or something with you, and only tell her you thought she could get exhilaration from some. an consumer-friendly kindness won't only make her experience stable, yet your self besides! do no longer difficulty if she would not keep in mind you each so often, because of the fact popularity isn't what kindness is approximately besides. your infants will carry her plenty exhilaration besides, and the stimulation is stable for her. God Bless!

If this is in reference to the bus accident, the boys that were driving are reported to be wonderful children and that there was a malfunction with the car, like a tire blowing out. Also if teenagers are not allowed to drive and get experience, then when they are older, they will be just as inexperienced and unsure as they are as teenagers. You think age makes you a good driver? You are ignorant.

Your right,
The problem is the experiensce.
But if we set the driving age back, then we dont eliminate the problem, we just postpone it. We need to have LONGER driver's ed classes, and manditory ( they are optional were I live)
And it should be harder to pass the test. I could have passed it blindfolded, lol

Yeah, and teenagers are also given guns and told to fight in war?
Nothing seems right.

The elderly, I don't what to do about that, send off the warning alert tone whenever there is an excessive ammount of elderly drivers?

But if we got teenagers off the road, and told people they can only drive when they're 20, then the 20 yr olds would drive too fast not having proper experience. and the old- dont say enething about them. They're cute when they drive slow :-)

Here are more for your list: Soccer Moms in SUVs, anyone in a Volvo and anyone driving a Prius in the left lane (or doing jackrabbit starts, don't they realize they are suppose to stop and start smoothly to maximize hybrid performance).

I think more restrticitions should apply to both teens and the elderly.
I have seen plenty of elderly people involved in hit and run accidents due to them not realizing they hit something.
