Sounds perfectly alright to me-casual but not scruffy.The skirt option would also work and if you're not going anywhere special just wear a coat that you're comfortable and relaxed in-you'll just take it off whenever you get to where you're going anyhow.

sounds good especially if its a white shirt/blouse they go with anything and ladies look fantastic in white shirts i think.
