I don't have any experience. I took a Real estate principles class. But I need to know how to gain experience.

Apply at a mortgage company in your area, not a bank- they don't pay anything. Take any experience you can get, whether it's in processing or in loan servicing. Hopefully, you can find a lender that does all. The bigger the better, as they will have a good training program and provide benefits. Soak it up like a sponge.
That's how I started, and I have gained a wide range of experience and now own my little mortgage company.
I started out processing VA and FHA loans.
Nasty little adventure with in-home demo sales turned me off taking the RE exam...
Good luck!

I started out as a receptionist at a mortgage company. I asked questions and learn some of the ins and outs. Then (with help) I closed a loan. Its not easy understanding all the paperwork, but I have gradually quit asking questions and have closed a few more loans.
Ask to be an unpaid apprentice at a mortgage company. Go in 2 days a week and work with someone who knows what they are doing. Dont be afraid to ask questions if you dont understand something. Take notes. Make a list that shows you the steps of what you need to do in order.

Usually you have to start in a lower position in a bank and then work your way up. Such as a cashier or customer service. It helps to take some community college classes on finance and also some colleges do offer a certificate in this field.
