No. Separation of church and state is a must. Do you remember why so many were willing to come to this wilderness to escape religious persecution?

The word God does not appear in the Constitution. The only mention of Religion is in the 1st Amendment which forbids the state from establishing a Religion. The 10 Commandments tell when and how to worship the God a of a certain Religion. The Constitution allows us to worship (or not) according to our own personal beliefs. there is disagreement even among different Christian Sects and different translations of the Bible as to the wording and even the numbering of different Commandments.

No. While I appreciate the "word of God" even if it was written by not just one, but several different men, I'd prefer the combined stregnth of the Constitution over ten rules made up to scare people.
I have far more hope in humanity than I do for any religious deity.

Well, assuming the ten commandments were obeyed about the same as the constitution I don't see how anything would change.

No and NO. I'd be hard pressed to find a dumber idea. What we have has flaws but they would pale to the ones we'd have in that setup.

Get real. Of course not.
The problem is that Americans lack a good understanding of how our government operates and what our Constitution means.
I blame public education.
