My brother tried doing that, so my dad sat on him, untill the police arrived.
Eventually when they move out his relationship with his mom will improve. But untill then, keep your fist comming down, that's how my dad taught my brother respect, TOUGH LOVE

I honestly I would beat the crap out of my son. Then I'll call all my male cousins and uncles and family to let them know what happened & the'd whip his butt He just might get jumped. Then he would be out my house. Period. My son already knows how i am i'm a sweet person but i'm just as nasty as i am sweet ...I would never stop loving my child but he has got to go. I would tell him that we can still keep in contact but he is not welcome to live in my home anymore no matter if he was 10 yrs old or 16 yrs old he would have to go if he put his hand on me.
I assume that you never nipped it in the bud. This is why this has happened.
Honestly i really don't play when it comes to my son. He is very respectful to me and other adults. However just as i deserve respect so do children.

I would knock the piss out of him. After that, we would calmly discuss whether he/she wants to continue to live under my roof. This is in keeping with the times, because if I'd have done that 20 years ago, there would have been a killing.

I don't think hitting back is the answer. I think a BIGTIME lecture and punishment that the knowitall will never forget would be the answer.

i've had my daughter physically assault me and i've taken her down to the ground and held her there until she was calm - her punishment was having to wash walls while repeating i'll never hit my mom again, i'll never hit my mom again,
i'll spank my child in a heart beat when it fits the situation.
