Some seniors let my friend in on a secret network of tunnels connecting a factory in my town, with my college. my college is about 300 years old, and the tunnel is said to travel from underneath the factory across town, into the college grounds.

My friend has been into this tunnel with these seniors, and the tunnel walls are apparently completely composed of clay. the cieling is roughly 8 ft high and its about 3 ft wide. I am desperate to explore this tunnel, and i cant get it out of my mind.

i guess what i would really like to know is what i should be wary of, should i go into this underground tunnel while i have the opportunity, or are the dangers too great?

anybody else experianced anything similar?

When I was a teen I discovered that underground tunnels existed in my hometown. I was told about them by a nurse who got lost in her hospital sub-basement. She ended up in the tunnels, and she said there were miles of them. She supposed that they were there in case of war, so people could have a place to go. Perhaps 300 years ago people used them to hide from Indians?

I would be wary of cave-ins, getting lost, getting dead.

Sounds like a plan, when do we leave?
