Who is the radio announcer that talks in "we built this city"?

The starship song "We built this city on rock and roll features an announcer on the radio saying"I'm looking out over the Golden Gate Bridge seeing no traffic...." Does anyone know who that is?

The DJ/Announcer in this is Les Garland, who was an executive at MTV at the time. After appearing on this song, he got China Kantner a gig on MTV, making her the youngest VJ they ever had. China is the daughter of Jefferson Starship members Grace Slick and Paul Kantner.

He doesn't say "no traffic" he says bumper to bumper traffic.
