I don't really think I am pregnant, I haven't had a period since Sept. but before that the last period I had was in July. I had always been regular and have been taking birth control for years now with no problems. Well in Sept. I went to the doctor & she gave me negative results and told me that sometimes women just don't have a cycle for one reason or another that it was no big deal. Well the next week I started. But here I am again, same situation but back in Sept. I messed up on my pills and missed three in a row and on the third day I took three. I think I am having the same problem as the first time but I have been extra tired and nauseated lately so I just want to get a cheap test just to satisfy my mind. I heard the Dollar General has the test for a buck but I just wonder if they would be accurate and also should I take it first thing in the morning or anytime. Thanks for your help.

I used to manage a dollar store and wanted to make sure the pregnancy tests were accurate so I checked and found out that they are under the same guidelines so they are as accurate as any. Since you have been so long without a period, I doubt that the time of day will affect the test much. Good luck and I hope the test comes out whichever way you are hoping for!

When i thought i was pregnant i took a pack of 3 pregnancy tests from the pound shop (prob the same as a dollar store) and all 3 of the came back positive. So i think they are quite accurate. Best to do them first thing in the morning.

Yes the first one I purchased positive 9 days past ovulation. I am now in my 4month.

Mine looked like the second one in the photo:
