I'm not looking for what someone thinks is morally correct or not, I don't think it is ok, I'm asking this for someone else. Does anyone know of any NC laws against a child being in a tattoo shop.

I don;t think it is illegal, but, to be on the safe side, don't let a child in a tatoo shop.

It is not illegal for a child to be in a tattoo shop, and it's also not illegal for a child to get a tattoo. As long as the child has parental consent (Parent has to be there with them) anyone can get a tattoo. It's up to the owner of the tattoo shop to decide if he wants to work with children in his shop, but it's not illegal.

I know in Ohio it's not illegal. I gotta wonder why you would think it should be illegal? I've been in tattoo shops several times - for myself and others. On a few occasions, the artists kids would be present...the kid would be there with their other parent, and all behaved perfectly. But seriously...why should there be laws against children being in tattoo shops if they aren't there for tattoos and are accompanied by a parent???

No there are not, Children can go into Tattoo shop's, it's really a discretion of the owner to have children in their shop's or not, most Kids are a distraction so most owners won't let kids in as far as a Child getting one NO WAY, you have to be 18 in NC

Well im not sure about NC, But In Maryland my dad told me that it was illegal to have kids in a tatoo shop

just sit them in front of the tv. thats so much better.what could possible be wrong with it.have you turned on the tv and see whats there. to each there own. its the familys life syle and theres nothing wrong with it. i think. i sopose its ok to take them to the bar though right.

I doubt it. An underage teenager can get tattooed with their parents permission. Please don't email me, I didn't say I condoned it.
